Cash in bank across your accounts, money in and out, profit for the month and where the money went.
Client app · invite-only
Every monthly client gets Accounting Buddy. AI does the first pass on your bank statement, you answer only what it can’t, and our accountants check and post every entry — so your P&L and balance sheet are live, not once a year.
Invite-only. We never ask for your bank login. Questions? WhatsApp us

Who does what
Three parts, one set of books. You never have to learn accounting, and nothing reaches your ledger without an accountant’s approval.
Reads your bank statement and GSTR-2B, suggests a ledger for each line and parks anything unclear in suspense.
Answers the Action Queue: what a payment was for, which customer paid, the bill behind it. No ledger access.
Approves, overrides or sends back each entry, posts what is approved and freezes the month.
How your books get done
The same process runs every month for every client. Here is exactly who does each step.
Each month, your bank statement (PDF or Excel) and your GSTR-2B are brought into the app — shared by you or collected by our team. We never ask for your net-banking login or password.
The bank statement is the books: every entry starts from a real bank line, so there is no separate bank-reconciliation step to fall behind on.
The app suggests a ledger for every bank line — rent, salaries, a named customer or supplier — and lines purchases up with what your suppliers reported in GSTR-2B.
If a line can’t be coded with confidence, it isn’t guessed. It is routed to suspense, so an unexplained receipt or payment never slips quietly into your profit.
Suspense items, and anything our team needs to ask you about, land in your Action Queue. You pick what a payment was for, add a note or attach a bill — it takes minutes.
Tagging is all a client can do. Client users have no write access to the general ledger, so nothing reaches your books on a tag alone.
In suspense — receipt not matched to an invoice
In suspense — payee not recognised
Sent back by accountant: “What was this cash used for?”
You tag. You can’t post to the ledger.
Every entry — whether the AI coded it or you tagged it — goes through maker-checker review at the firm. Your accountant approves it, overrides the ledger, or sends it back to your queue with a question.
Only entries the firm has approved are posted to your books. Your dashboard and reports update from posted entries.
When a month is complete, the firm freezes the period. Posted entries for that month are locked, so the figures behind your returns and reports stay as they were reviewed.
Your trial balance, profit & loss and balance sheet are always current with what has been posted. Drill down to each payment, and export when your bank, investor or auditor asks.

Roles
Everyone signs in with their own invitation. Clients can view and tag; only the firm can post to your books.
Our team
You, the owner (or the person you nominate)
People in your team you want involved
Security & access
Built around a simple rule: the people who should see your numbers can, and nobody else.
There is no public sign-up. Access to your business starts with an invitation, and each person gets the role they need — nothing more.
We work from the statements you share. We never ask for net-banking user IDs, passwords or OTPs — and you should never share them with anyone.
Maker-checker review means the AI or a client tag proposes, and an accountant at the firm decides, before anything is posted.
Once a month is frozen, its posted entries are locked, so the numbers behind your filed returns don’t shift.
Your data is hosted securely, and access is limited to the people invited to your business.
Firm admin / accountant, client admin and client staff. Clients can tag and view; only the firm can post.
