Who we are
This website is run by Calculators — The Tax People (“Calculators”, “we”, “us”), an accounting and tax firm at 4th Floor, Sai Arcade, 3rd Main Road, Ganganagar, Bengaluru 560032. For the purposes of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.
This notice covers enquiries and website visits. When you become a client, how we handle your financial and tax records is also set out in your engagement letter.
What we collect
When you send the estimate or contact form, call us or message us on WhatsApp, we may collect:
- your name;
- your phone number, which may also be your WhatsApp number;
- your email address, if you give it;
- your business type, the services you are interested in, and anything you write in your message;
- the page you contacted us from, and the date and time of your enquiry.
When you send an estimate or result form on this website, the details you enter, the page you sent it from and the time are emailed to us at gsunilkumar1020@gmail.com. That email is sent by our website hosting provider’s mail system. We don’t use a CRM or a third-party form service for website enquiries.
Please don’t send bank passwords, OTPs or full card numbers through the website or WhatsApp. We will never ask for them.
When you visit the website, our hosting provider may record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and pages viewed, for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
We use your enquiry data to:
- reply to your enquiry and send you a quote;
- call you or message you on WhatsApp about the services you asked about;
- keep a record of what we discussed, so you don’t have to repeat yourself;
- improve our website and services, using summary information that doesn’t identify you.
We will only send you newsletters, due-date reminders or other marketing messages if you have separately agreed to receive them. You can stop them at any time.
Your consent
We process your enquiry data on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the box on our form, or when you contact us directly to ask for our services. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before, and we may still keep records we are required to keep by law.
Third-party content
Our pages use fonts served by Google, and our contact and about pages show a Google Maps map. When these load, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, under its own privacy policy. Links to other websites, including our client apps, are covered by their own terms and policies.
How long we keep it
If you don’t become a client, we keep your enquiry for up to 12 months so we can follow up and answer any later questions, and then delete it. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as the engagement lasts and for as long as tax, company and other laws require us to keep them afterwards.
How we protect it
We limit access to enquiry and client data to people in our team who need it, use access controls on our systems, and our Accounting Buddy app is invite-only. No system is completely secure, so if we become aware of a personal data breach that affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct, complete or update it;
- ask us to erase it, where we no longer need it and the law doesn’t require us to keep it;
- withdraw your consent;
- nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to;
- raise a grievance with us, and if you are not satisfied with our response, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children
This website is meant for adults and businesses. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 through it. If you think a child has sent us their details, please contact us and we will delete them.
